Composite Doors
Launched in 2005, the Dempsey Dyer range of composite doors has been designed with aesthetics and fitting in mind. We have therefore utilised the range of ironmongery found on our timber products and sourced a door blank with a superior timber appearance and high stability properties as a result of the composite compound used.
Composite Door Specification
A 44mm door blank creates a flush internal finish on the Deceuninck 2800 series outer frame. The blank is constructed by bonding high-impact, fibreglass outer skins to composite rails surrounding an inner core of thermally efficient insulating foam (CFC free). A timber inner frame provides strength and as this is not exposed to the elements, cannot absorb moisture and therefore our composite door products neither warp, twist, or rot.
Locking System:
Utilising a three point dead-bolt, the locking system featured on this product is proven to withstand the three main attack methods (bumping, drilling and snapping). In addition to this highly secure locking system, our composite doorsets also feature an additional 'mortise lock' for added security.
Hinge:
The door hinge included as standard on this product is fully rebated with adjustments in three dimensions helping to combine traditional aesthetics with modern technology.
PAS 23/24 Security:
PAS 23/24 security is available as standard on our range of composite doors. Our design has passed the high security test that's required by this accreditation.
Secured By Design:
By selecting a PAS 23/24 product you have the opportunity of upgrading the glass specification on the door to laminate. Once laminate glass is present in addition to the PAS 23/24 requirements, we're able to offer this product as Secured By Design. This standard was achieved by Dempsey Dyer to highlight the superior security performance of our composite products, helping to provide you with piece of mind in your investment.
Colour Options:
Available white to the inside as standard, this product has an additional 7 colour variations to the outside available as through colour which are; white, black, red, blue, green, golden oak and rosewood. On top of the through colour range, we are also able to utilise our own in-house timber spray department to match any RAL colour you may require.
