Crocodile Works Contract

Dempsey Dyer have secured a contract for the manufacture and supply of PVCu Windows and Doors for the Crocodile Works development in Birmingham.
The rejuvenation of the 19th Century development will see the creation of 168 new homes in the heart of Newtown, close to the Newtown shopping district.
£11.9m of investment has been placed into the rejuvenation project courtesy of the Homes and Communities Agency and Urban Living.
All properties part of the development will be constructed to the new Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3 (where possible) and this will help to provide energy efficient homes benefiting from greater levels of insulation and therefore reducing energy costs for occupiers of the development.
Dempsey Dyer will manufacture and supply PVCu Windows and Doors for William Davis who are the main contractor for the development. Windows will be manufactured with a whole frame U-Value of 1.3 and to the BS7950 standard. Doors will be supplied to the Pas 23/24 standard. This high specification design provides greater security and energy efficient features. Frames will be finished in a Decoroc coating of the "anthracite grey" colour tone.
The rejuvenation is scheduled for completion in early 2011.
