Weining Machinery Installation

Dempsey Dyer have taken delivery of two separate Weinig machinery products for the manufacture of their timber window, door and conservatory products.
A Weinig Powermat 500 Moulder and Opticut Saw are currently in the process of been installed. Pre production testing has been scheduled for week commencing 22/03/2010.
Weinig are a leading manufacturer of machinery products for the solid wood processing industry. Dempsey Dyer have decided to invest in new Weinig machinery to bring increased automation to their timber production line.
The Weinig machinery installation is the first step in the transformation of Dempsey Dyer's timber production facility. Future improvements are likely to include the addition of a Weinig Conturex machine centre and software improvements aimed towards providing a direct link between Dempsey Dyer's timber production database and machinery products.
With the new machinery installation comes an increase in safety for some processes carried out by employees of Dempsey Dyer's timber production facility. Improvements in capacity, lead-times and quality of product will be seen over the coming months and years as the process of investment continues.
Similar investments have been seen in recent times for the pvc production facility and have had highly positive effects for both Dempsey Dyer and their customers. A more recent investment for the pvc production unit was the installation of new Haffner machinery products aimed towards increasing production capacity.
The investment of Weinig machinery contributes to Dempsey Dyer's commitment to create a lean manufacturing unit capable of producing high quality products with minimal waste and maximum efficiencies.
Dempsey Dyer hope to start full production with the new Weinig machinery in the near future.
