Insulation:
Just as the 2500 series profile, the 2800 series "Decorative" has been designed to comply with all current building regulations and requirements. Similarly, the profile benefits from advanced features which are able to provide an impressive level of insulation. The 2800 series profile has achieved the below accreditation to highlight its insulation performance.
- BS EN 12567-1:2000 (Thermal Performance, Windows & Doors).
Weather Performance:
The 2800 series profile also features a multi-functional weatherseal. This weatherseal benefits from modern material technology and has been welded at the corners to provide the all-round seal seen on the 2500 series profile which improves the insulating properties of our UPVC products that use the 2800 Decorative series profile. This profile has achieved the below accreditation.
- BS 7412:2002 (Weather Performance For Windows).
Security:
The 2800 series "Decorative" profile has been fully tested and accredited to the below standards. This enhanced security performance is passed on to some of our UPVC products.
- BS 7950:1997 (Enhanced Security Performance, Windows).
- PAS 24-1 : 1999 (Enhanced Security Performance, Doors).
Profile Colours:
A range of standard colours for the 2500 Chamfered profile are available on your order (White, Rosewood and Golden Oak). When projects require alternative colours then we are able to offer a range of Decoroc or Deuctone options. View our finishing options area for additional information.
