Beaumont Composite Windows

Launched in 2012, the Beaumont composite window range offers a new concept in window design. The key to this products success came firstly with the close working relationship we have developed with Deceuninck over the last 28 years. The second important ingredient is our timber experience which we have manufactured since our incorporation in 1977.

Having this unrivalled knowledge of both the UPVC and timber manufacturing processes as well as a comprehensive understanding of both marketplaces led us to the brief of creating complete timber aesthetics from a UPVC window.

Specification

The innovative Beaumont composite window range features a superior specification. Please see below for further details.

Profile:

  • Profile System - Our Beaumont composite windows are manufactured in the Deceuninck 2800 Decorative profile system combined with a patent-pending robust jointing mechanism developed internally by Dempsey Dyer.
  • Finishing Options - Available in the full range of Deceuninck's revolutionary Deuctone finishing options, this product can be customised to the most demanding of specifications. Both standard and foiled finishes are currently available.

Ironmongery:

  • Locking System - Benefiting from shootbolt and mushroom adjustable cams, our espagnolette as standard achieves 500 hours salt spray corrosion resistance. This can be increased to 1000 hours for contracts in coastal areas.
  • Friction Stays - Manufactured in the UK and available as austenetic for enhanced corrosion resistance, our friction stays have been tested to 30,000 full cycles demonstrating their reliability.
  • Handle Options - Our Beaumont composite windows are fitted with high performance Fab & Fix handle options as standard helping to provide a trouble free experience throughout the lifecycle of the product.

Energy Efficiency:

  • BFRC Window Energy Ratings - Our UPVC open out casement windows are registered with the BFRC under the window energy rating scheme. As our Beaumont composite window solution utilises the Deceuninck 2800 profile, we are currently able to offer our customers the most efficient rating available under this scheme - an "A" rating.
  • We are also able to simulate any glazing specification with our product range to prove its thermal performance (whole frame U-Value).

Security:

  • When you are pushing the boundaries of any product, it is important to ensure there are no ill effects to other areas of the design. In this case, the improved sash corner aesthetics meant a complete new jointing system had to be created which then must be proved to be at least to the same performance as a welded joint.
  • Our two main areas of concern were its structural integrity and weather tightness. There are two British Standards that are relevant to these areas which we now have indicative test results for on the Beaumont window.
    • BS7950 – stipulates each corner and every locking point must pass a load of 3KN. The Beaumont Achieved 7KN.
    • BS7412 – has no minimum requirement rather a rating and the Beaumont achieved 600PA.
